Dark Love

It is a dark love that holds no ones arms
in the middle of the night
Even darker that which is misunderstood,
given and lost away

In all the universe, on all the planet,
who would know what love is right
or wrong in the face of loneliness

What is constraints compared
when flying above clouds in the sunshine
or lost within yourself in a corner of your mind

Where does mine lie, what field in dreams
what would I lie to share with you one last kiss, one breath
a taste of your tears

Blood runs down my arms from my heart I hold
so tenderly in my hands
